Dr. Newman has appeared on The O'Reilly Factor and he has been cited in The Sunday Glasgow Herald, the L.A. Daily News, the St. Petersburg Times and other international and regional publications. Recently, Time magazine compared MovieMinistry to a "kind of Holy Ghostwriter" for pastors. He has written for Preaching Magazine, The Journal of Religion and Film, and The New Interpreters Bible Handbook of Preaching. His weekly articles on Christianity, film, and culture are syndicated through Agape Press and have appeared on Christianity Today.com, Crosswalk, CatholicExchange, FoxNews.com, and TownHall.com and thousands of other websites. These articles are read by over 50,000 Christian opinion leaders worldwide. Dr. Newman also does regular radio shows throughout the United States. Dr. Newman holds a B.A. from Biola University, an M.A. from Louisiana State University, and a Ph.D. from Regent University -- all in Communication with an emphasis in the rhetoric of film. His doctoral dissertation on transcendence and redemption in film won Dissertation of the Year from the Religious Communication Association. A college and university professor for over twenty years, he speaks at churches and professional organizations all over the United States on the persuasive power of film.
 Each day, 38 women wake up in the Orlando area believing abortion is the only realistic solution to an unplanned pregnancy.
